Investigation of Factors Affecting Satisfaction with Health Services During the Covid-19 Period Using the Continuation Ratio Model

The aim of this study is to identify the factors influencing individuals’ satisfaction with health services in Turkey during the COVID-19 period through the Continuation Ratio Model, utilizing microdata sets from the 2021 Life Satisfaction Survey conducted by the Turkish Statistical Institute. When the model results are examined, it is observed that variables such as age, marital status, level of education, level of happiness, satisfaction with one’s health, hospital visits, satisfaction with medical examinations, problems with doctor behavior, problems with nurse behavior, competence of doctors and healthcare personnel, issues related to waiting times, problems with co-payment fees, presence of health problems, household size, number of rooms in the residence, square meterage of the residence, and income level are significant. The study concludes that as individuals age, their likelihood of being satisfied with health services increases. According to the findings, married individuals are less likely to be satisfied with health services compared to single individuals. Additionally, the results indicate that as the level of education increases, the likelihood of being satisfied with health services decreases.
